海の灯まつり2(Paper Lantern Festival)

この灯りはろうそくです。

ろうそくの灯りの周りを紙で覆っていました。

柔らかな落ち着く灯りですね。


This light is a candle.

The candle is covered around with paper.

The candle light is soft and calms down.

お台場で、海の灯まつりが行われています。

砂浜のキャンドルナイトですね。


Today is "Marine Day", a national holiday in Japan.

The paper lantern festival is performed at Daiba.

橋と屋形船3("Eitai-bridge" with "Yakatabune")

永代橋と屋形船です。

近所でライトアップしている橋は、これで最後です。

隅田川の写真撮影スポットですね。


It's "Eitai-bridge" and "Yakatabune".

The bridge doing illuminations in a neighborhood is the last in this.

There is a popular picture taking spot in Sumida-river.

橋と屋形船2("Cyuou-Ohashi bridge" with "Yakatabune")

中央大橋と屋形船です。

屋形船を流してみました。

コンデジですので、バルブ撮影は出来ません。
タイミングが難しい…


It's "Cyuou-Ohashi bridge" and "Yakatabune".

I took the wake of "Yakatabune".

My camera is a compact digital camera, so valve photography is not possible.
Timing is difficult.

橋と屋形船("Kachidoki-bridge" with "Yakatabune")

勝鬨橋と屋形船です。

隅田川の夜の名物風景ですね。

この屋形船はライトが一番派手なので、私は「サイケ屋形船」と呼んでいます(^^;

The popular night view in "Sumida-river".

Lighting decoration of this boat is the flashiest, so I call it "Psychedelic Yakatabune".

佃の盆踊り("Bon Dance")

佃の盆踊りです。

カレンダーでは、お盆だったのですね。

お囃子などは無く、唄と太鼓のリズムだけの静かな盆踊りです。


It is "Bon Dance" at Tsukuda.

"Obon" is the Buddhist custom in Japanese summer.
The family meets ancestor's soul, and spend a time together in a period of "Obon".

One of the events in a period of "Obon" is "Bon Dance".
