祭りの夜2(The NIght of Festival)

お祭りといえばお神輿ですね。

宮元の「千貫神輿」、大きくて重い為、そう呼ばれています。

天皇陛下御即位二十年、という事で今年は特別にこのお神輿が巡行しました。
皇室の正式行事として執り行われました。


The one necessary for a festival is "Mikoshi", portable shrine.

This "Mikoshi" is called "Senkan Mikoshi", because it is big and heavy.

For the celebration of 20 years after His Majesty the Emperor succeeded to the throne, this "Mikoshi" paraded in particular this year.
It was held as a formal event of Imperial Household.
