薔薇の館(Roses in Courtyard)

バラの季節ですね。

ここは、ある場所の小さな中庭です。

新しく出来た場所なので、まだバラの木は小さいのですが、
きれいに咲いていました。


The season when the flower of the rose blooms has come.

晴海トリトンスクエアの庭にある赤い橋です。

小さな橋ですが、造詣は凝っていますね。

トリトンブリッジの入口です。

朝潮運河にかかっている、晴海トリトンスクエアに向かう
歩行者専用の橋です。

動く歩道になっています。


It's the entrance of "Triton bridge".

It's a bridge of pedestrian exclusive use for "Harumi Triton Square".

A bridge is the travolator.

東京ディズニーシーは、海のテーマパークです。

水辺の夜景がきれいですね。

楽しそうに夜景を眺めていました。

潜水艦のノーチラス号です。

東京ディズニーシーに、海底２万マイルというアトラクションがあります。

ネモ船長が設計した潜水艦ですね。


It is the submarine "Nautilus".

In Tokyo Disney Sea, there is an attraction of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".

東京ディズニーシーです。

時は１９１２年のニューヨーク。１８９９年に起きたオーナーの謎の失踪事件以来、恐怖のホテルと呼ばれるようになった「タワー・オブ・テラー」です。

残念な天気("Kaiwo Maru")

青空だったらな～。

白い帆が映えていたでしょう。

でも、帆船が帆を張った姿はいいですね。


It's regrettable that it wasn't fine weather.

If it was blue sky, I think a white sail was more shining.

怖い…(Sail Drill)

海王丸のメインマストの高さは、甲板から約４３ｍ。

一番上の人は、４０ｍ位の高さにいるのですね。

怖くないのかな？


The height of the main mast of "Kaiwo Maru" is about 43m from a deck.

The upper person is about 40m.

Isn't he afraid?

先週の土曜日、晴海埠頭で海王丸の展帆が行われました。

航海実習船の帆船です。

青空でなかったのが残念です。


Sail Drill on "Kaiwo Maru" was performed at Harumi Pier last Saturday.

"Kaiwo Maru" is a sailboat for sailing training.

It's regrettable that it wasn't fine weather.

夕方だったので、とても大きな虹でした。

しかも、二重！

「フォーレンダム」出港3(Departure of "Volendam")

「フォーレンダム」が離れていきます。

送迎デッキで見送っていた人も、一人また一人と帰ってしまいます。

夜に船を見送るのは、ちょっと物悲しくなってしまいました。


"Volendam" was leaving away.

The number of the people seeing the ship off at observation deck decrease gradually.

I have felt like being sentimental to see the ship off in the night.

「フォーレンダム」の出港時の写真です。

晴海埠頭に入港した日の、夜９時にもう出港です。

汽笛を３回鳴らし、静かに出港していきました。


It's the departure of "Volendam" from the Harumi Pier.

It entered the Harumi Pier in morning, and the same day it's departure at 9:00 p.m.

The ship was departing quietly after blowing a steam whistle three times.

三菱壱号館(Mitsubishi Building No. 1)

再建された三菱壱号館です。

昔のビルは装飾が素敵ですね。

完成した時には、もっとじっくりと眺めたいビルです。


It's Mitsubishi Ichigokan reconstructed in Marunouchi.

In the old building, decoration is wonderful.

When it will be completed, I would like to look at more slowly and more carefully.

この船は、オランダの「ホーランド・アメリカライン」
という会社が運行しています。

現在は、アメリカの「カーニバル・コーポレーション」傘下で
本拠地はシアトルの様です。

船名の「フォーレンダム」はオランダの小さな港町だそうです。


A company in Netherlands, "Holland America Line Inc." operates this ship.

Now, this company is under the control of "Carnival Corporation" in U.S.A., and the home base is Seattle.

This ship's name "Volendam" is the name of small port town in Netherlands.

こどもの日("Children's Day")

今日は、こどもの日です。

晴海埠頭でも鯉のぼりが泳いでいました。

「フォーレンダム」のお客さんは、鯉のぼりを見てどう思ったのでしょうか？


Today is a holiday as "Children's Day" in Japan.

There is a custom that Japanese display "Koinobori(streamer of carp)" on this day, for wishing child's healthy growth.

When the passengers of "Volendam" saw the "Koinobori" swimming in the sky, they thought "What is this?",I think.

「フォーレンダム」入港("Volendam")

オランダ船籍の「フォーレンダム」が、今朝晴海埠頭に入港しました。

大型のクルーズ客船です。総トン数は、６１ ,３９６トン。

ホントに大きいですね～。


"Volendam" of the Netherlands registry entered port on Harumi Pier this morning.

It's a large cruise passenger ship, the gross tonnage is 61,396t.

It's too big!

丸の内の洋館?(European-style house?)

丸の内の洋館(^^;

この建物は、再建された三菱壱号館です。

美術館のオープンは来年の４月ですが、完成はもうすぐですね。


It's Mitsubishi Building No. 1.

This building has been reconstructed in Marunouchi.

The completion of the building is soon, but the opening of the art museum is April of the next year.

チューリップタワー(Tulip Tower)

銀座みゆき通りに飾られていたチューリップタワーです。

「フラワーカーペット」開催時には、みゆき通りの入口に置かれています。

でも、今年のタワーはちょっと低いような…


It's the tulip tower displayed in Ginza.

銀座のみゆき通りで開催された、フラワーカーペットです。

今年のテーマはエコと地球環境でした。
